Vector boson fusion processes are considered as particularly interesting class of reactions for gaining insight into the mechanism of electroweak symmetry breaking at the LHC. To match the statistical accuracy of the experiment, next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD calculations have to be provided for signal and background processes. Here, we present NLO QCD predictions for vector-boson pair production via weak boson fusion, making use of a parton-level Monte Carlo program that allows for the application of realistic experimental acceptance cuts and the calculation of cross sections as well as kinematic distributions.
